Terms and Conditions for hiring a car from Elan Car Rental with safety!

Driver’s age: minimum 21 or 23 for Jeep/Mini-Van/SUV.
Driver should present valid driving licence held for at least 1 year.
Non European Union citizens require an International driving license.
To secure the deposit, the drivers must provide a credit or debit card in their name.
The customer pays for the fuel and must return the car tank at the same level.
No refund for any fuel left or early car return.
No insurance covers keys, tires, mirrors, glasses, the interior and underneath of the car.
The price includes Collision Damage Waiver insurance with maximum € 1000 – 1400 excess. For jeep/minivans/SUV €1600 .
Full damage waiver available with € 10-16 daily, still does not cover damages in case of:
- Driving under the influence of drugs/ alcohol.
- The driver is unauthorized to drive the car.
- Driving on non asphalt roads (except Jeep).
- The driver parks the car illegally.
- Loss or damage of the car key.
- In case of an accident if the client does not follow the proper procedure.
- Driving against the Greek highway code.
If Full Damage Waiver insurance covers the rental, in case of an accident the renter must fill in a damage report and the insurance company claims € 150 as administration fee.
Out of hours service 25 euros from 23.00 – 07.00.
